Tradition and history tells of a chime that changed the world on July 8, 1776, The Liberty Bell, ringing from the tower of Independence Hall and hoarding the people of Philadelphia to hear the Colonel John Nixon's reading of the Declaration of Independence.

In 1751 The Pennsylvania Assembly ordered for the bell to commemorate the 50 years anniversary of William Penn's 1701 Charter of Privileges, the original constitution of Pennsylvania. It speaks of the of the freedom and values of the people in the world. Particularly William's ideas on religious freedom, his expressions and stance on rights of the Native American , and the inclusion of the citizens in exhibiting the laws.
